Scanning to Email from a Campus Printing Device
Introduction
Scanning from the fleet of Campus Printing devices now directs your document file to either your Quinnipiac email account or your Quinnipiac OneDrive for Business account.
- Tap your QCard to log into the printer.
- Select the Scan button. The screen below should appear. It is the first of two pages of buttons, as evidenced by the “1/2” reference.

Scanning to Email
The buttons on this first page will email scanned documents to your Quinnipiac email account. The sender of that email will be your own name. There are four document formats.
- Select the format for your document.
- Tap Start to begin scanning. You will see a preview of the scanned document on the touch screen. To scan additional pages of a document, position those pages and tap Start again.
- Tap Next to continue.
- Tap Next on the OCR screen.
- Enter an Email attachment file name. You can change the default name by tapping in the text box to access an on-screen keyboard, or you can leave the default name as-is.
- Tap Next to continue.
- Tap Finish Scan.
- Tap Log Out.
Please note that the email size limit of 35 MB applies to scanned items as well. If you are trying to scan a long document or one that contains many detailed images, it is recommended that you split it into multiple files scanned separately to avoid this limit.
