YuJa - Sharing Media with an External Party

Introduction

To share your media stored in YuJa with external parties or individuals who are not a part of the Quinnipiac community, there are several security settings you should apply before sharing the link. This guide provides an overview of where those settings are located and how to apply them.

YuJa Security settings

Locate the media you wish to share with an external party, hover your mouse over it and select “More…”

Select “Links” on the left-hand side of the pop-up window, and click the “Security Settings”

For an external party to access the media, you will need to set the radio button to “Public.”

It is recommended that you apply a Simple Password, Date Restriction, and Location Restriction (the country can be set as the United States, and region left blank). Click “Save” when finished.

You can now save your links and copy the link you wish to share with your external party

Start by clicking the “Save Links” button first
Then click the “Copy Direct Link” button to your clip board to paste into an email or message with your external party
Click “Close” when finished.

The Direct link you copied can now be shared with an external party.
