TA
While TAs can perform many of the same tasks as Teachers - such as managing course content, grading assignments, posting announcements, and moderating discussions - they cannot manage course settings or publish/unpublish the course.

Designer
Unlike Teachers and TAs, Designers are primarily responsible for course design and layout, not instructional or administrative tasks. Designers can create modules, pages, assignments, and quizzes, but they cannot view student analytics or access the gradebook.

Designer - Peers
Based on the Designer role for use by Peer Catalysts, Fellows and Tutors.
This role is a stripped back version that allows some creation and management of course content (pages, files) and communication with students (announcements, discussions, messaging, group management), but with no ability to add assignments or quizzes and no access to the gradebook.
